Always with me :)

In this post, I’m going to talk you about my cat, he died a year and a half ago, but I always remember him because he was the best cat.

His name was Sofo, everyone asked me why I called him that! Well, when he was a baby cat, my sister and I believed that he was a she, then I called her Sofia, but when we took her to the veterinarian, the doctor told us that Sofìa was a tomcat!! So, We decided don’t change his name because he understood for the prefix “So”.
I took this picture when my darling cat was sleeping comfortably, he had 4 o 5 months, I still have his image in my mind, He did not deserve death, whatever, it’s things of the life.
Do you see his green collar? I remember that it was too big for him, even, when he lick himself, his jaw always got stuck with the collar. It was very terrible!!
His death was very tragic; I’m going to tell you:
One night I arrived to my house and I don’t saw him, but I didn’t worry because he always got out of the house and then he arrived. But, when my mother arrived to house, she cried and screamed with Sofo in her arms. I couldn’t believe it! My little cat was killed u.u
We never know the causes of his death, but I think somebody poisoned him u.u
But, not all is so bad! Now, I have a new cat (= My best friend gave me him for my birthday. His name is Toffee (= I love him so much like I loved to my Sofo <3

My favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology is the digital camera =) It's the best invention ever made in the mankind history!!
I think everyone knows a digital camera, but I will give a general description of it
A digital camera is an electronic device used to capture and store photographs electronically. I can  see my pictures in the same moment!!! and I can delete them, if I dont like the pictures.  It's great!

For Christmas my dad gave me a digital camera and now I can have photographic memory of all my important moments such as graduations, holidays, birthdays, etc.

I use my digital camera for all important occasions and when I go out with friends at parties and events.

I like it because thank to it I can remember things that over time have been forgotten, perhaps, without a camera, all people would enjoy more the moments, but nothing is more beautiful to look at old photos of loved ones that no longer are with you.

My favorite super hero is PERRY THE PLATYPUS

Perry the platypus is a secret agent, also known as Agent P or simply Perry. He is a platypus from the animated television series Phineas and Ferb.
Perry is a pet for the Flynn-Fletcher family, who is perceived as a normal and domesticated animal. But, in secret, he has a double life as member of espionage oganization . Perry doesn't have supernatural powers, but is agile and battle the evil of Dr. Doofenshmirtz, who always wants to end with the area bordering.

I like him because is very seriously but is for this that he is very fun see him  fight against evil and then go home, without his hat that characterized him how a secret agent, where are Phineas and Ferb

Perry, though fighting with the Dr. Doofenshmirtz, always leaves a teaching about respect to other and to haven't grudge. He always has the hope that the Dr. Doofenshmirtz will become good and he will use the science for the good of the community.

I hope that you like him, because is very cute and rough =)

See you!!  =)

Jean Piaget (1896-1980)

Jean Piaget was a swiss psychologist. His father, Arthur Piaget, was a professor of medieval literature with an interest in local history.  His mother, Rebecca Jackson, was intelligent and energetic, but Jean found her a bit neurotic, an impression that he said led to his interest in psychology, but away from pathology!
He had a phd in biology at the university in his hometown (Neuchâtel). He published several articles about child psychology. He relied on the growth of their children to develop the theory of sensorimotor intelligence wich described the spontaneous development of a practical intelligence, based on action, which is formed from the emerging concepts that the child has about permanent objects of space, time and cause. Piaget established a series of successive stages in the development of intelligence:

  · Stage of sensorimotor intelligence
  · Stage of intuitive intelligence
  · Stage of concrete intellectual operations
  · Stage of abstract intellectual operations

I like Piaget because his theory about the development of intelligence is very origininal and interesting.

I agree with many of the points that he mentions. Also he links the cognitive-experimental, what really catches my attention.
I recommend reading a little about him. Besides his theory is based on the children, an area that I love. I love children!

Greeting!

About me and my blog

Hi classmates and miss Marian!

I want to tell you a little about me and my objetives about this blog.
My name is Francisca, but  the teacher calls me Franny, that's nice. Nobody has called me Franny before, so is very original and tender (other people call me Fran, Pancha, Panchy, etc. but these nicknames are very common)
I study psychology at the University of Chile, and I'm in the second year.  My carreer is very fun and interesting.  Actually, I don`t see myself studying in another carreer.
I'm single but I have boyfriend. He studies psychology in the same university. We are classmates! It´s very fun but sometimes it's a little difficult.
I like dancing contemporary dance, but my dream always has been dancing ballet. I never could achieve it.
I didn't like the blogs, but now I like writing them. My objetives about my blog are that you know a little about me and my interests. Also, that you know my opinions about the different topics that I will post here. And I hope you can write your opinion  too.
I hope learn English too and communicate better with you in this language.

See you soon! =)

The Notebook

My favorite movie is The Notebook. I hoped so much time to watch it because I never could see it in the T.V. But one day I was do what I do every day when turn on the T.V and I don`t believe it!!  The movie was started!  The movie is set in to the summer of 1940 in Seabrook, so, the costume is old: the women used nice dresses and beautiful hairstyles and the men used old and elegant suits. The houses and the streets are very very majestic.
This movie is based on a true story. It´s an American romantic novel written by Nicholas Sparks. This movie is set in to the summer of 1940 in Seabrook.
It was directed by Nick Cassavates
The story begins with Noah, an 80 years old man, who is interpreted by James Garner, reading a story from your notebook to a woman in a nursing home. But really, he reads his young love story to his own wife! The woman is his wife with alzheimer!! Noah reads to Allie (Gena Rowlands) for she doesn`t forget him!! Is very sad and emotional. During the movie you can see them love story and the difficult moments that they had to happen.
I recommend this movie for all people that enjoy with romantic movie beause I assure you that you will be moved.
